Dimensions of Open Exhibit
Dimensions of Open is inspired by the efforts of Dartmouth authors, creators, artists, and inventors to make the results of their work openly and publicly available. The work of Dartmouth scholars and researchers is often in collaboration with authors across the globe, and immediate access to that work has a significant global impact. This exhibit reveals the complex issues surrounding open information through six dimensions: global, political, financial, workforce, technological, and future.  On display in Baker Library Main Hall from October 2017 through January 2018.

Open Dartmouth: Research, Data, Code, and Ideas

Open Dartmouth: Research, Data, Codes, and Ideas is a poster exhibit featuring the scholarly work of Dartmouth scholars publishing their work openly within open access journals or other open access resources. This exhibit travels and was featured during Open Access Week 2016 in Berry Library, and is currently available online. The exhibit continues to grow and we are always looking for new faculty to feature! Contact us if you would like to recommend yourself or someone you know.

Open Access Week

Open Access Week is an annual, international scholarly communication event focusing on open access and related topics. It takes place during the last week in October. Typically, the Dartmouth Scholarly Communication Program and Open Dartmouth Working Group will offer additional seminars, displays, exhibits, and presentations. Gear Up for Research

Gear Up for Research is an information fair designed to inform researchers of the resources, tools, and consultation services available from departments across Dartmouth. It is a great way to connect with people across campus who can offer support on everything from proposal submission to publication. This event happens at various times throughout the year. Gear Up for Research most recently took place on May 10, 2017 in Baker Main Hall.
