Hadley is a member of the Class of 2022, and is studying art history and economics.

Hadley Detrick is a member of the Class of 2022 at Dartmouth College. He studies art history and economics. Before matriculating in 2018, Hadley lived in Vienna, Austria, where he attended the American International School of Vienna following three years in Zurich, Switzerland. Throughout high school, he frequently visited museums with his family, classmates, and friends, a habit that stoked a keen interest in art and visual culture.

In his time at Dartmouth, Hadley has actively involved himself with the Hood Museum of Art, initially as a Museum Club member, then working as a social media assistant before finally assuming his current role as the Erbe Curatorial Intern. He has produced social media content for the Hood Museum’s Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts, including image captions, interactive trivia games, and marketing graphics. In the classroom, Hadley’s interests range from the merits of kitsch to the political impact of satirical caricature. In his free time, Hadley enjoys skateboarding and playing rugby for the Dartmouth Rugby Football Club.
