Our mission is to develop a new material design paradigm that can make proactive failure predictions with trackable and treatable functionality, enhance the existing capabilities to tailor multifunctional materials for specific applications, and guide the manufacturing process with uncertainty management. Our design tasks include the development of multiscale simulation tools, in-situ testing capabilities, and material property databases.
