Despite the challenge of social distancing, 7 APIC members Zoom-gathered on 2020-05-18 for an Art Break led by Jessica Hong, Associate Curator of Global Contemporary Art at the Hood Museum.   Jessica focused on a work from an exhibition that she recently curated for the Hood, Portrait-Musume I, an Asian take by Yasumasa Morimura on a famous painting by Edouard Manet.  The lively discussion touched on many topics including postmodernism, the history of photography as fine art, individual perceptions of the work, and the psychology of the artist.
