The O’Toole Lab supports and fights for diversity in STEM. We are dedicated to speaking up for equity and standing against racial injustice in order to build an actively antiracist community at Dartmouth, the MCB graduate program and the Upper Valley. We will not silently tolerate harassment or discrimination of any form. As a lab, we are dedicated both to listening and learning, as well as actively fostering a culture that contributes to positive social change in our community. We support our mission through scientific outreach to underrepresented students and fellows, advocacy for POC in STEM, and a no-tolerance policy for racism or discrimination. As we challenge ourselves to continuously listen and learn, we strive to be a force for positive change against racism and discrimination in the world at large.
