In August 2019, Dartmouth unveiled its new unified policy to address sexual misconduct. In the works for more than a year, the policy applies to all faculty, students, and staff and is designed to provide clarity and consistency across the institution, setting uniform expectations and resolution processes. In response to new regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE), Dartmouth's Title IX office announced amendments to our sexual and gender misconduct policy and procedures in August 2020. The changes come a year after Dartmouth unveiled the unified policy, which applies to all faculty, students, and staff.
