The Executive Director (ED) is licensed as the legal Unit Head and is the primary liaison for all external agencies including HFD, HPD, DOSS, and D-EMS alumni. The ED manages and coordinates Board elections and Board meetings. The ED is also responsible for spearheading expansion initiatives and actively seeking ways to improve the overall functionality of D-EMS. The ED supervises and may assist with all Executive Directorate programs.
The Director of Operations (DoO) is directly responsible for all squad operations including Campus Coverage and Standby. The DoO coordinates with the DoT to manage re-certification for current squad members, maintains the database of licensure, and answers general squad operational queries. The DoO is responsible for obtaining standby opportunities and managing ride-alongs. The DoO supervises and may assist with all Operations Directorate programs.
The Director of Training (DoT) oversees all squad training by ensuring quality and continuity of all training programs and developing the training curriculum. The DoT heads the Quality Assurance Quality Improvement (QA/QI) committee and is the primary contact for the NREMT. The DoT also recommends and implements remedial training when necessary. The DoT coordinates with the DoO to manage re-certification. The DoT supervises and may assist with all Training Directorate programs.

Executive Directorate
The Administrative Officer (AO) manages the logistics of D-EMS including disbursing mail, managing email account, maintaining the website, taking notes at board meetings, and managing D-EMS social media accounts.
The New Member Officer (NMO) manages the recruitment of new members with the help of the New Member Committee (NMC). Duties include advertising to campus, holding Q&A sessions, hosting events for potential applicants, and overseeing the application and interview process.
The Finance Officer (FO) is responsible for squad finances including managing revenue, billing, payments, payroll, budgeting, obtaining p-cards, reimbursements, and keeping accurate and thorough financial records.

Operations Directorate
The AED Manager (AM) manages the D-EMS AED checking program by coordinating AED checkers, working with Dartmouth College to place AEDs, and coordinating with Life Support Systems to address any issues with AEDs.
The Equipment Officer (EO) is responsible for all squad equipment by managing and maintaining existing inventory, ensuring its proper distribution, and purchasing new equipment as needed.
The Operations Officer (OO) is responsible for creating and scheduling all weekly campus coverage and standby shifts based on personnel compatibility and needs.

Training Directorate
The Community Training Officers (CTOs) are responsible for broad oversight and development of the Community Training Program. Specific responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating CPR and First Aid classes, recruitment and training of new instructors, and are the primary point of contact for DHMC Life Support.
The Internal Training Officers (ITOs) are responsible for all internal training programs including lectures, scenario sessions, drills, and vehicle training. Both ITOs are expected to hold office hours for our members.
The Provider Development Officer (PDO) is responsible for holding 1-on-1 training sessions with groups of 1 to 5 members to improve specific skills identified by QA/QI. The PDO also runs all individualized trainings, rank specific trainings and trainings in preparation for the NREMT written and practical exams in coordination with the efforts of the ITOs and DoT.
