Rotoscoping in After Effects

The Digital Lab (virtually brought to you by BVAC) is looking at rotoscoping in Adobe After Effects on Wednesday August 11 from 5:30PM-7:30PM ET.
Rotoscoping is a method of drawing on top of film footage to create realistic looking animated action, and we’ll briefly look at the process in Photoshop. In After Effects rotoscoping tools are used to selectively mask moving objects in videos, and to track that mask through a video clip.
