When Dartmouth students consider what we might like to do, it is most natural for us to look for role models within the alumni community. Unfortunately, for the most part we only hear about either recent grads or very established professionals with decades of experience. We have little exposure to the stories of graduates who fall in between, though they offer invaluable insight into first jobs, narrowing one’s career focus, and planning for the future.
Excelle is a student-run website dedicated to both educating female undergraduates about professional possibilities and inspiring them through the experiences of young alumnae. Twice a month, we ask a different young alumna to share her story.
