Brown Bag Series

Are you curious about the journeys of Dartmouth professors across different science disciplines? Join us for a series of events featuring rising female faculty at Dartmouth who are making significant contributions to their fields. These sessions aim to spark meaningful conversations over lunch about faculty members’ paths through science, from undergraduate and graduate studies to their current roles.

Lunch and drinks will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Open to all Dartmouth students! Register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or by clicking this link.

Bio

Heather Drinan is the Associate Director of the Provost’s Office at Dartmouth College. She is responsible for activities and special projects primarily in the areas of Federal government relations, international initiatives and local community relations. She travels to Washington, DC frequently to engage with policy makers and represents Dartmouth at various national higher education organizations, including serving as a board member of The Science Coalition.

Before joining the Provost’s Office in 2016, Heather held several roles at Dartmouth’s Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection (I3P), including Associate Director of Research and Operations. Prior to Dartmouth, she worked for Senator George J. Mitchell (D-ME) in Washington, DC; at the Drug Enforcement Administration as a data analyst and as a consultant at William M. Mercer.

Heather graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with an English/Pre-medical degree and holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Heather lives in Etna, NH with her Boxer dog, Mr. Bingley. Her daughter is an undergraduate student at Dartmouth.
