Please use the Bizhub 808 printer as your default. This prints black and white double-sided (or single sided if needed). The Bizhub C759 is color printer and should only be used for output that requires color.

NOTE: You must be connected to the Dartmouth network via Ethernet, Dartmouth Eduroam, or VPN to complete the installation.

Mac Setup

I. Determine your computer’s operating system:

• 1. Click the Apple Menu in the upper left corner and choose “About this Mac.”
  2. Write down your operating system information – you’ll need this to determine 
which drivers to download.

II. Obtain drivers

1. 1. Go to the download page:

   2. In the Quick Search: box, enter the model number (either Bizhub C759 or Bizhub 808)
   3. Click the Drivers tab – it’s to the right/middle of the screen
   4. Then scroll and choose your operating system. If there’s not a driver for your 
Mac operating system, choose the latest available.
   5. You likely will see 3 or 4 different options. The filename changes but you will 
want to choose one of the .zip files.
   6. Click the filename to download the file 
Driver Install
   7. Double click the downloaded file. It should unzip to your downloads folder.
   8. Double click the .pkg installer and accept the defaults. You will be prompted to 
enter your computer’s password.

III. Install Printer

Once the driver is installed, you will need to install and then configure the printer:

1. 1. Apple menu > system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
   2. 
Unlock the screen, if needed, by clicking the lock in the lower left and entering 
the computer’s password.

Note: Remove old printers you don’t use anymore or previous driver installs that are not working. (Click the minus – sign. When prompted, click Delete Printer.)

1. 3. To add the new printer, click the + sign

   4. Choose the IP tab.
   5. In the address field, type the printer’s full name – either ‘economics-copier.dartmouth.edu’ or ‘econcolor.dartmouth.edu’ Leave everything else blank.
   6. Change the protocol from IPP to LPD.
   7. Click the box next to Use: and choose Select Software
   8. Scroll to find your driver – Konica Minolta bizhub c759 or bizhub 808, highlight it and click OK. (You can also type KON in the search field to see available Konica Minolta drivers.)
   9. When the driver name fills in, click Add.
   10. Fill in the printer’s installable options (see above chart).
