Run Global Protect installer and choose ‘uninstall’ (go to https://vpn.dartmouth.edu to download the proper installer).
Once uninstall is successful (sometimes it fails) verify that the following have been removed from your computer; delete them if they are still there: /Library/LaunchAgents/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangpa.plist /Library/LaunchAgents/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangps.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangpsd.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.paloaltonetworks.GlobalProtect.client.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.paloaltonetworks.GlobalProtect.settings.plist ~/LIbrary/ApplicationSupport/PaloAltoNetworks/ (confirm folder is empty)
Restart computer again
Run Global Protect installer and choose ‘install’ this time. Choose vpn.dartmouth.edu as the port
