Printer setup for Linux

Download the Linux PPD drivers from Konica Minolta.

  1. Go to their website (https://onyxweb.mykonicaminolta.com/onestopproductsupport ).
  2. Search for Bizhub 808 and/or Bizhup c759.
  3. Click on the ‘Drivers’ button.
  4. Click on PPD and then ‘Application_PPD’ in the list and download the ZIP file.
  5. Unzip the file
  6. In the Xubuntu (or similar) dialog, search for network printer via samba. Use the IP address of the printer (10.32.25.30 for Bizhub 808, and 10.32.25.29 for Bizhub c759) and when prompted, use the print driver you just downloaded (KOC759U.ppd)
  7. Make sure your paper selection is Letter sized and not the European A4 size which is the default for some Linux systems.
