Growing up in multiple languages (Arabic, Dutch, English, Papiamentu, Spanish), Louis and Eman’s curiosity for linguistic identity formations and cross-regional comparative analysis led them to academic careers as a linguistic anthropologist and a literary scholar. This podcast series explores some of the closest topics to their intellectual hearts. Artists, writers, and scholars who think with and across multiple linguistic spheres are interviewed and asked to elaborate on how and why they compare.
