What is the policy on note passing?

Passing notes in committee is a privilege given out at the Dais’ discretion. However, if any delegate is found misusing this privilege, chairs are advised to permanently take away the ability to pass notes.

What is the policy for pre-written resolution papers?

Pre-writing is when a delegate takes time before/outside of committee sessions to write clauses for working papers and resolutions. Delegates found working on pre-written resolution papers will be removed from awards consideration.

Why is there a delegation fee for DartMUN XVII?

DartMUN XVII is a self-funded and fully student-run conference. High volumes of cancellations make it difficult for us to put on the conference we strive to provide your delegates. To discourage last-minute cancellations and delegation size changes, we have implemented a small delegation fee. If this poses a challenge for your delegation, do not hesitate to reach out to dartmun@dartmouth.edu and fill out our Financial Aid form when completing your registration.

I registered with 8 delegates but would like to add more to my delegation. Do I need to pay the higher delegation fee?

Yes. Any changes between delegation sizes will incur the new delegation fee, which will appear in your additional invoice.
