Meditative Practices in Critical Thought, 3/28-4/25

Following the Teach-In, the second part of our Institute consists of weekly sessions, "Meditative Practices in Critical Thought," held on Thursdays, 3/28-4/25, 6-8pm (eastern). Following an opening provocation on March 28, four weekly zoom sessions will be held, each of which will be led by one of our Institute Fellows. These workshops might focus on their own work and/or a primary reading of their choosing, as well as supplementary readings. We’ll also seek to incorporate meditating and breathing into the session in order to provide a moment of bodily rest and renewal alongside intellectual exchange. To ensure accessibility and equity of participation, these sessions will be held entirely by zoom.

To facilitate deep conversation, these sessions will be limited primarily to Institute participants. We have a few open spaces for each session (except the opening provocation); if you’re interested in participating in one or more of these sessions, please fill out this short google form by Monday, March 25 at 5pm.

Readings available as PDFs are posted here. (Note that the link is not public since some fellows are sharing work in development; if you're participating in the sessions and you're not able to access this file, please contact Laura at Laura.Edmondson@dartmouth.edu.)
