Dartmouth College and the University of Alaska Fairbanks founded the University of the Arctic Institute for Arctic Policy (IAP) as a forum for discussion and analysis of critical issues facing the circumpolar north and its peoples as a result of climate change. I co-chair IAP along with Mike Sfraga, Vice Chancellor for University and Student Advancement.
