Alexander Boys

Professor Boys is a materials scientist and biomedical engineer interested in building new ways to interface electronics with the body. He received his PhD at Cornell University in Materials Science & Engineering, working with Profs. Lara Estroff & Lawrence Bonassar on tissue engineered implant development through an NIH F31 Fellowship. Afterwards, Alex performed research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge, working with Professors Róisín Owens & George Malliaras on developing tissue engineered bioelectronic implants for applications in neuroscience through an HFSP Cross-disciplinary Fellowship. Alex joined the faculty at Dartmouth College in 2024.

We are hiring!

We are hiring two PhD students and one postdoctoral associate to work on the development of tissue engineered bioelectronic implant systems.
