EM-Sensing group was established in 2007, and our research activities are focused on detection and classification subsurface targets and bioengineering problems. Namely, we are:

  • Investigating diffusive behavior of electromagnetic induction (EMI) fields in UW environments and developing enhanced EMI forward and inverse models for underwater UXO targets detection and classification;
  • Developing a fast and robust EMI sensing platform for detection and classification subsurface anomalies at airfields using an autonomous unmanned aerial system(s)
  • Building new high frequency EMI new instruments for detecting and identifying intermediate conduction (carbon fiber (CF)) and non-conducting targets (voids).
  • combining the near field EM solver with the bio-heat equation to enhanced nano-particles hyperthermia and immune therapies for cancer treatment and to improve biomedical imagine.
