About the Program

Resolving health inequities in the U.S. requires thoughtful and rigorous investigation from multiple perspectives and stakeholders. The Health Equity Pathways Program at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI)  is committed to building and supporting a community of scholars who are asking challenging questions and investigating ways to eliminate health inequities—with the ultimate goal of achieving social justice in health.

The program comprises four training opportunities geared toward health equity researchers at various stages of their careers. Read more about each pathway here.

Mission

TDI has launched the Health Equity Pathways Program to enrich health- and healthcare-centered equity research by providing mentorship and resources to promising early-stage health equity investigators at critical junctures in their careers. The overarching goal of the program is to develop leaders in the field of health equity research and support the innovative work they are pursuing that sheds light on the myriad systemic contributors to health inequities.
