Given the reconfiguration of IDE and the creation of a senior-level office to champion this work across campus, Dartmouth has positioned diversity, equity, and inclusion as a priority to achieve its mission to “educate the most promising students and prepare them for a lifetime of learning and of responsible leadership.” The plan will set institutional priorities that can be utilized across schools and divisions. This plan centers equity as a vehicle for transformation emphasizing actions, that when institutionalized, can affect long-term change.
