I am fascinated by how neurons find their correct targets, both in development and regeneration, within an organism filled with incorrect targets. What are the cells and signals that tell them where to grow and how to fix mistakes?
When not in the lab, you can find me outside camping, hiking, or biking.

Graduate students– open for spring rotations for IND or MCB graduate students. To join the Walker lab, you must be an admitted into the Dartmouth IND or MCB programs and do a rotation.
Undergraduate students– Please send Lauren an email that includes a resume/CV and a short paragraph about your career goals, what you find interesting about our research, and what you hope to learn from your time in our lab.
Postdocs– Please send Lauren an email that includes a CV, a description of your major research accomplishments and background, a description of what you’d want to study in the Walker lab, and contact information for three references.
