Within the next few weeks, card readers will be installed in the Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library (DHMC, 5th floor). This will give all Geisel students and DHMC residents/fellows 24-hour access. Geisel faculty and staff and other DHMC staff may request 24/7 access, and would then be added on an individual basis (please speak with Cindy Stewart for more information).
This increased access will also allow the Biomedical Libraries to utilize staff resources more efficiently. We will shift all of our staff to a Monday-Friday schedule as follows:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
These hours will be effective beginning Monday, July 22, 2013.
Please note: We anticipate a minimum of one to a maximum of three weekends when the Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library will be closed on weekends before the card readers are installed.
