The library becomes a second home to medical students who are starting to wind down the Fall term and prepare for exams. We see students with their headphones in and papers, laptops, and highlighters scattered across tables and study carrels. Cereal boxes, food containers, and bananas and oranges can sometimes be found alongside them. And in the quiet afternoon, the occasional student can be found taking a ten minute power nap.
During these stressful times, the library tries to help support our medical students as much as possible. Aside from our helpful staff, books, and many resources, we also offer quiet study spaces, lamps for late night studying, computers and mobile device chargers, and study break materials like coloring pages, puzzles, and origami.
From everyone at the Biomedical Libraries, we wish you all the best! You’ve Got This!
