Li-Bo joined the CANlab at Dartmouth as a postdoctoral researcher in the
spring of 2025. He earned his doctoral degree from the Institute of
Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a background in
psychology and cognitive neuroscience. His research focuses on
developing neural biomarkers of pain and investigating the neural
mechanisms of the placebo effect using EEG and fMRI. Beyond his
scientific work, he has a strong interest in philosophy, particularly ethics
and epistemology.
