Visiting Scholar, National Tsing Hua University
Hsin-Yun Tsai received her B.S. in life science from National Tsing Hua University and her M.S. in neuroscience from the Graduate Institute of Brain and Mind Sciences at National Taiwan University. She earned her Ph.D. through the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience program of the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP), a collaboration between Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University. Her research investigates the neural mechanisms by which expectations influence human pain perception, with broader interests in how cognitive, emotional, and social factors modulate pain processing. Outside the lab, she enjoys practicing yoga and watching dramas.
