Jimmy Fitzgerald is a graduating senior from Champaign, Illinois majoring in Psychology. Jimmy took his senior seminar in Psychology with Professor Wager. In the seminar Mind, Brain, Health, the class explored a vast array of health interactions which got Jimmy interested and involved in the CANlab. During the summer of 2020, Jimmy will be researching the power of belief and placebo and how they contribute to physical pain, sports performance, and the effectiveness of post-operative medication.
