Ke Bo joined the CANlab at Dartmouth in the spring of 2021. He got his bachelor degree at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China, with a major of Biomedical Engineering. He then received his doctoral training at University of Florida (PhD Biomedical Engineering), where he applied computational models on simultaneously recorded EEG-fMRI data to study the neural mechanism of emotion perception. He was also involved in introducing artificial intelligence techniques, such as convolutional deep neural networks to better understand the research question in affective neuroscience. At CANlab, He is interested in studying the regulation process of negative emotion and pain and their corresponding neural signature.
