Malka graduated from Hunter College with a degree in clinical psychology. At Hunter, she conducted research with Dr. Amber Martain on the conceptualization and representation of familiar and unfamiliar numbers. Her research interests broadly include manifestations of stress, pain, and trauma, the effects of pain on emotions and on cognitive function, and body-mapping in the brain.
Malka also enjoys spending time hosting and cooking for friends, learning to ski, and practicing yoga.
