Marta Ceko headshotPostdoc, University of Colorado

Credentials: PhD

Marta joined the lab as postdoc in the fall of 2015. She received her doctoral training at McGill University in Montreal (Ph.D. Neuroscience) where she investigated the effects of chronic pain on brain function and structure. Currently, her research is focused on exploring the basic brain mechanisms of aversive processing. She is particularly interested in applying predictive computational modeling approaches to fMRI, behavioral, and physiological data to determine brain processes underlying successful regulation of aversive experiences. The longer-term goal of this research is to develop brain and behavioral targets for individualized prevention and treatment of pain and related disorders.
