2024 RETURN OF ELECTRIC
We’re an interdisciplinary group of students working together to achieve a common goal – to build a race car. We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries of performance and maximizing the elegance of our design to the constraints of the competition.
Our team was founded in 1996 in the same shop we work in today, but we’ve come a long way from our internal combustion car – “Grandma”.
In 2018 and 2019 our team found success in the hybrid category, but these past two years we have been taking on a new platform with the development of an all-electric vehicle.
2023 was a year of team-building and planning, with many new members joining the team and seeing the transformation of our prototype to a functional vehicle which pushes the limits of an independent, dual-motor RWD design to the absolute maximum. We are excited to showcase our efforts at the 2024 Formula Hybrid-Electric competition.
