This is a drop-in session to answer any questions you might have relating to digital art and film software, to discuss projects you might be working on that you need help with, or to chat about your projects in general!
Animation Week
This week in the Digital Lab we’re focusing on animation!
On Tuesday (10/20) at 5PM ET we’re looking at Adobe After Effects! We’ll get to know the After Effects interface, learn about keyframes and effects, and use these tools to make a short animation.
Then on Thursday (10/22) at 5:30 PM ET we have a guest instructor Peter Ciardelli who will be teaching rotoscoping. Rotoscoping is a method of drawing on top of film footage to create a realistic looking animated action. From Disney classics to shows like “Undone” on Amazon, rotoscoping can add a cool tool to your animating arsenal. Photoshop is required for this one!
