Eligibility

This program is designed for people interested in Ecology, Evolution, Environment and Society who will be applying to graduate school in the near future. This includes current undergraduates, recent college graduates, current Masters students, recent Masters graduates and also those that have worked or are currently working in EEES related fields. We are planning the next cohort for Fall 2025.   

We especially encourage people from underrepresented groups in Ecology, Evolution, Environment and Society related fields, as well as those inhabiting other axes of diversity, to apply. Students attending Minority Serving Institutions (such as Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, and Tribal Colleges and Universities), first-generation students, and undocumented students are particularly invited to apply.

Thank you for your interest in applying. The scholars program has become a Dartmouth program in 2023, with expansion into additional departments. The applications will be completed following the instruction at the Dartmouth’s Scholars’ Program website.

Past application timeline:

Applications for the Scholar’s Program 2023 opened on June 27th, 2023.

All applications details were due by July 31st, 2023.

Admissions decisions were released by mid-August.

Components of the application include:

• Personal statement detailing your career goals and research interest
• Two letters of recommendation
• Unofficial transcripts
• Resume/CV
