Congratulations to Jeff!

Congratulations to Jeff for the recent defense of his thesis on the Candida albicans response to low pH and the role of Mediator in the regulation of morphology! It was a great day and we enjoyed the visit from Jamie Konopka, Jeff’s outside examiner.

MACHINE LEARNING ANALYSIS OF PSEUDOMONAS

 

An exciting new paper on an improved method  (eADAGE) for the unsupervised extraction of stable expression signatures by P. aeruginosa and its use to understand the effects of different media on Pseudomonas physiology performed as a collaboration between Jie Tan (Greene Lab) and Georgia Doing with important contributions from Kim Lewis! MEETINGS!

Lab members off to many meetings including ASM (Jeff Hollomon and Deb) where we reconnected with former lab member Annie Chen who is now doing great things as a graduate student at Penn.  Colleen when to BBM and Georgia went to SGIM. Elora Demers is soon off to Molecular Mycology in Woods Hole.
