QUIZ: Camper or ’20?

With so many young folks milling around campus these days, you’ve probably asked yourself, “is that a camper, or a ‘20?” Take this helpful questionnaire to figure out the answer

  1. You ask them what ‘Masters’ means. Do they say:
    A. THE EVENT OF THE SUMMER but omg don’t talk about it, S&S will hear you
    B.  A golf tournament that their dad watched on TV

  2. You are trying to pass a large group of them on the sidewalk. Do they:
    A. Move out of the way
    B. Keep walking, forcing you into the grass/road

  3. You ask them for a form of identification. They:
    A. Produce a card from a pouch in the back of their phone
    B. Proudly show you their ID on a long green lanyard

  4. You ask them where they like to eat on campus. They respond:
    A. By telling you about a mythical place called the Hop that sold fried chicken in quesadillas
    B. Class of 1953 Commons

  5. How much have you seen them this summer?
    A. You probably passed them on the green week 1 and agreed that you should totally grab a meal, and haven’t seen them since.
    B. Literally everywhere

  6. You ask, “who is good sam to you?” They respond:
    A. “What happens when you drink too much.”
    B. “Um, like Sam I Am who likes green eggs and ham? Is this another one of those weird Dartmouth cult Dr. Seuss things?”

  7. You ask them what House they are in. Do they:
    A. Look at you with confusion
    B. Look at you with confusion

Tally up your scores:
Mostly As: It’s a member of the Dartmouth Class of 2020!

They may not look like they have their shit together, but believe it or not they are over halfway done with their college experience!

Mostly Bs: It’s a camper!

Don’t be intimidated – they don’t even go here! Their parents paid for them to debate and play soccer in Hanover this summer, and they’ll be replaced by a new batch of youngins any day now.
