What would be the nature of a China-led order? How would its goals and priorities differ from that of the “liberal international order?” My panel at Chatham House’s annual London conference in June discussed these important themes. I drew on my recent essay in Foreign Affairs in my remarks to discuss the ways in which China is already seeking to exercise greater leadership both in Asia, and in the “order” more broadly.
