Participate

Participate in our behavioral or EEG studies and help science, see your brain waves, and make some money (or T-Points)

Our lab studies attention and memory. Are you curious to see how well you can hold your attentional focus and how well you remember different kinds of objects? Do you want to see how your own brain activity looks like?

You will be asked to complete a computer task, which will test your speed and accuracy in attending and remembering objects. While you do the task, your brain waves may be recorded with an EEG cap.  The study lasts between 1 to 3 hours.

You will receive study pool credit (1 credit/hour) or money ($20/hour).

Who can participate?

You must be aged 18-35 years and have normal or corrected-to-normal vision, normal hearing and no history of epilepsy to participate.

Other factors to consider before choosing to participate in an EEG study: the recording cap will not work if you have corn rows or dreadlocks and the gel used to clean your skin for the recording may trigger allergies or irritation if you have sensitive skin.
