Our practice schedule this year will be a mixture of workouts focused on different topics and lead by different people, all virtually! Practices will be scheduled on our calendar. For meeting links, check your email, Engage, or the GroupMe. You do not have to come to every practice! We offer a lot to allow people with all sorts of schedules the opportunity to be involved however they feel comfortable.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, we will be joining courses offered by a renowned Taekwondo master who taught one of our very own black-belt members. These practices will emphasize poomsae, or forms. There will also be classes to join for black belts, which will have a focus on competition and tournaments.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we will be offering courses taught by our own members. Wednesdays will have a focus on kicking and sparring. Thursdays will be conditioning and a more general workout. These are great practices to join to meet and bond with other DTKD members!
On Saturdays, we will be offering a rotating schedule of classes and social events. For example, some of these classes will be collaborations with nearby schools. Others will be educational courses. To continue our on-campus traditions, we will be hosting social events such as our weekly team dinners, game/movie nights, and more.
