Xiangbei Liu
Xiangbei is from Dalian, China. She earned her B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology and her M.S. degree from the University of California, San Diego. She also spent her final undergraduate year studying at the University of California, Irvine. Her primary research focuses on implementing machine learning with metamaterial design. She loves reading and swimming in her free time.
Ya Tang
Ya Tang holds an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Sun-yat Sen University. His research focuses on 3D printing, multifunctional materials design, high thermoelectric and piezoelectric materials/devices design, modeling, and fabrication. In his free time, he likes Hiking and Fishing.
Mingzhao Li
Mingzhao is from Hunan, China. He received his M.Phil. degree in Micro- and Nanotechnology from the University of Cambridge and his B.Sc. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Manchester. His research focuses on energy conversions and additive manufacturing of thermoelectric materials. In his free time, he enjoys calisthenics, reading, and rowing.

I am a Dartmouth ’28 from Massachusetts, studying to be a mechanical engineer with a particular interest in aerospace. I am also a member of Dartmouth Women’s Rugby and love to spend my time skiing and hiking in the off-season.

I am a Dartmouth ’26 from Sri Lanka, studying Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Energy. On campus, I am involved with the First Generation Office as a Student Director and the Society of Women Engineers as Co-President. In my spare time, I love to paint, read and go on walks!
