Anthony Dunn

Anthony Dunn is a Graduate Student from Santa Rosa, California. He received his B.A. in Psychology with Departmental Honors from University of California, Berkeley. Anthony’s previous lab experience at UC Berkeley includes working as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant in the Building Blocks of Cognition Lab (P.I. Silvia Bunge) and working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Wilbrecht Lab (P.I. Linda Wilbrecht). His research interests include representations of conceptual knowledge, and how the structure within which these representations are embedded support relational reasoning and the formation of abstract concepts. He was the co-creator and co-facilitator of an undergraduate-led survey course at UC Berkeley on the topic of psychedelic research and therapy, and the impacts of psychedelics on society. Anthony’s awards include High Distinction in General Scholarship at UC Berkeley and UC Berkeley Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF Scholar). Outside of lab, Anthony is an amateur Muay Thai fighter and loves to snowboard. His special skills include custom sheet metal fabrication and metal roof installation. He owned and operated a small rain gutter and roof cleaning/maintenance business while attending community college. Anthony has four younger siblings that are his biggest source of joy in life.
