Funding opportunities for postdocs

Postdoctoral Scholar Professional Development Award

Since 2018, the DCPDA has worked with Dean F. Jon Kull to identify and secure funding to support postdoctoral researchers for activities that directly enhance the individual’s professional growth. Such activities include, but are not limited to conference travel, workshop attendance, course enrollment. A maximum of $750 is being awarded to Postdoc fellows. Please note that this award is open only to those who do not receive professional development or other additional funds beyond their stipend upon appointment (e.g. Mellon fellow).

In addition to the major U.S. funding agencies (NIH, NSF), the Office of Corporate and Foundational Relationships maintains a list of new and upcoming funding opportunities. You could also check similar lists curated by Harvard and Johns Hopkins.

Dartmouth Grant Proposal Support (GPS)
