Since 2018, the DCPDA has worked with Dean F. Jon Kull to identify and secure funding to support postdoctoral researchers for activities that directly enhance the individual’s professional growth. Such activities include, but are not limited to conference travel, workshop attendance, course enrollment. A maximum of $750 is being awarded to Postdoc fellows. Please note that this award is open only to those who do not receive professional development or other additional funds beyond their stipend upon appointment (e.g. Mellon fellow).
External fellowships (as of Sep 2019)
DCPDA maintains a list of fellowships and grants for postdocs. There are hundreds of other sources (consult with the Dartmouth GPS website). You could also check similar lists curated by Harvard, Hovard, JHU, and others.
Dartmouth Grant Proposal Support (GPS)
Provides opportunities to assist faculty, postdocs, and grad students in writing grant proposals. See their Resources section for an extensive list of funding opportunities, (successful) application templates, and advice.
