ISQua (International Society for Quality) is a global organization dedicated to improving health and healthcare quality for everyone.

This year’s annual meeting was held in Brisbane Australia from October 17 – 20. Brisbane is a booming and beautiful city on the Australian coast, north of Sydney, featuring wonderful old buildings, great people, delightful riverfront walking & biking trails, fine museums, botanical gardens and restaurants of all sorts.

Our Dartmouth Coproduction Lab and ICoHN team made important contributions to the Conference.

  • Brant Oliver and Gene Nelson organized a PROMs 101 Workshop offered on October 17 that featured cases from Israel, the US and Africa as well as “hands on” exercises.
  • Tina Foster, Christian Von Plessen and Julie Johnson led a popular and highly interactive workshop on coproduction and hosted “A Kuppa Coproduction” that featured the podcasts that were led by Paul Batalden, Professor Emeritus at TDI
  • Amith Shetty (Australia), Anna Edwards (UK), Christian Von Plessen (Switzerland), Eyal Zimlachman (Israel) and Gene Nelson held a well-received Plenary Presentation titled Leveraging Coproduction During the Covid-19 Crisis on October 20th
  • On the “last stop” of a 3-day long Learning Journey, Gene Nelson led a session “Innovate, Implement & Improve: What makes a successful culture of innovation”

A major theme for next year’s ISQua Annual Conference to be held in Seoul Korea in late August will be coproduction as the title for the conference will be: Technology, Culture and Coproduction. You may be interested in presenting or attending this annual meeting that attract a global set of participants that are leaders in advancing health and healthcare quality.
