Joel joined The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI) in 2016 after completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Granite State College (now known as the University of New Hampshire: College of Professional Studies). In his current role as a Research Assistant, Joel is dedicated to driving innovative projects that aim to improve healthcare services by exploring shared decision-making, coproduction of healthcare, registry-based learning health systems, peer-to-peer facilitated support networks, point-of-care dashboards, and care integration from the patient and care partner perspective.
Aside from his professional endeavors, Joel is an active community member and committed to giving back. He has served in various leadership roles and as a member of several community boards and youth organizations.
When he’s not busy at work or volunteering, Joel enjoys spending quality time outdoors with his wife and two children and caring for their furry, shelled, and feathered companions. He currently resides in a beautiful small town in Northern New England.
