Welcome to your new position at Paddock Music Library. You are a very important part of our library. We could not provide the level of service that our patrons deserve and expect without the help of our student assistants. As one of our staff, you make the library experience a better, more productive one for our patrons by being well-informed about the library in general, and by having a positive customer service attitude.
Ask questions when you are unsure of an answer. The staff is here to support you. Refer to this manual often as you are learning the position and take advantage of all the training we provide.
We hope that you will enjoy working with us at Paddock Library, and that you will gain experience that will help you with your own studies at Dartmouth and perhaps enhance your interest in music as well.
